Thank you for contacting Propet. After giving the first dosage you have to wait 2 weeks and then administer the second dosage. After that you should no longer see the roundworms. It is currently normal for your pet to expell them right now. Also, make sure they are roundworms which are long and spaghetti like worms. If they are short and segmented looking like a piece of rice then those are tapeworms and this product will not work on them.

The first dose will kill the adult worms and then eggs hatch in 10 days so you need to repeat this process based on the weight of your kitten. Thank you for contacting ProPet. Your cat should be okay even though you gave the second dose a few days early. You do not state how old your cat is but again she should be fine. Remember also to practice good hygene yourself. A human can contact these parasites as well and being that you are on the road and may not have the ability to stop and wash your hands easily after touching her you have to be careful yourself. The only thing you need to watch for is a potential for stomach upset, extreme diahrea or vomitting. I know you said you are a truck driver but as soon as you are able to you should definitely have her examined by the vet to make sure she is healthy.

Regarding Jade, his dosage should have been 2 teaspoons on day 1 and then 2 teaspoons again on the 10th day. You didn't specify how much you gave him but if you gave him more than that he could be vomitting from a potential overdose.

Regarding Posiedon, she should have received 1 teaspoon on day 1 and another teaspoon on day 10. On both pets this should kill the roundworms. You didn't mention what the worms looked like. Are they long and spaghetti like or short and segmented like rice? If they are long than they are roundworms and if they do not go away with the first dose you need to repeat again after 30 days. If, however, they are short and segmented those are tape worms in which this medication will not work and you will need to have them both treated at your veterinarian.

You do not specify what the worms look like. If they are short and segmented like pieces of rice those are tapeworms and unfortunately the roundworm medication will not kill them. If they are long and string like resembling spaghetti those are round worms and sometimes it takes a few doses for all the worms to be destroyed. Please remember to practice good hygiene as these can be contracted by humans as well. If your cat does in fact have tapeworms you will need to contact your vet to obtain the proper deworming medication.

If they are long and look like a piece of spaghetti than those are roundworms and this medicine should be effective. If they are short and segmented like a piece of rice then those are tape worms caused by fleas and this medicine will not work and you will need a prescription dewormer from your veterinarian.

Thank you for contacting Propet. Actually either is correct. We originally put 10 days for second dosing on our bottles and then changed to 14 days to make it easier for the consumer. If you pet had a bad infestation, repeat the dose at 10 days.

If you've given your cat 2 doses off our Liquid Wormer and you are still seeing evidence of worms, it may in fact be either Whipworms or Hookworms and these would need to be attended to by your vet so we would suggest contacting your vet for a stool analysis.
